第十九届华东固体力学学术会议在南昌举办
2018年10月19日至21日，第十九届华东固体力学学术会议在南昌举办。参加本次会议的人员除了来自华东6省各高校的师生，还包括了部分来自其他省市高校的师生。我院的杜建科教授和王骥教授带领多位青年教师和学生参加了本次会议。
本次会议由南昌大学的宋固全教授主持。会议邀请了91岁高龄的黄克智院士和一些国内知名学者参加。在大会开幕式上，来自哈尔滨工业大学（深圳）的仲政教授向与会人员详细介绍了华东固体力学学术会议的历史，并分析了这一会议在学术交流和人才培养方面的重要作用和意义。在随后的邀请报告中，黄克智院士向与会人员介绍了其在固体力学领域内所做的研究、应用与实践，也向与会人员介绍了其最近几年在页岩气方面所做的研究工作。此外，香港科技大学的孙庆平教授、西南交通大学的康国政教授等也在大会了做了精彩的报告，介绍各自的研究成果。
华东固体力学学术会议每两年举办一次，下一届将由宁波大学举办。在大会报告结束后，大会上进行了主办单位的交接仪式。王骥教授代表宁波大学从南昌大学的宋固全教授手中接过了象征华东固体力学学术会议举办权的纪念杯，并在简短的发言中介绍了宁波和宁波大学，鼓励华东地区的同行积极来宁波大学进行交流。
在随后举行的分会场报告中，来自各高校的师生相互介绍了各自的研究工作并进行了交流。来自宁波大学的青年教师和研究生们介绍了他们的近期研究工作，展现了我们丰富多彩的科研工作和研究生教育。
From October 19 to 21, 2018, the 19th East China Conference on Solid Mechanics was held in Nanchang. In addition to teachers and students from six provinces in East China, some teachers and students are from other provinces and cities. Professor Jianke Du and Professor Ji Wang, as well as, many young teachers and students from our college attended this conference.
The conference was chaired by Professor Guquan Song of Nanchang University. conference invited Professor Kezhi Huang of 91 year old to participate. At the opening ceremony of the conference, Professor Zheng Zhong from Harbin University of Technology (Shenzhen) introduced to the participants the history of East China Conference on Solid Mechanics in detail, and analyzed its important role in academic exchange and training. In the subsequent invited report, Professor Kezhi Huang introduced the research, application and practice in the field of solid mechanics to the participants, as well as his research work on shale gas in recent years. In addition, Professor Qingping Sun of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Professor Guozheng Kang of the Southwest Jiaotong University also gave wonderful reports on their researches.
The East China Conference on Solid Mechanics is held every two years, and the next session will be held by Ningbo University. After the invited reports, the handover ceremony of the organizers was held. Professor Ji Wang, on behalf of Ningbo University, took over from Professor Guquan Song of Nanchang University the commemorative cup symbolizing the right to host the East China Conference on Solid Mechanics. In his brief speech, he introduced Ningbo and Ningbo University, and suggested colleagues from East China to come to Ningbo University for active exchanges.
In the subsequent session reports, teachers and students from various universities introduced their respective research work and exchanged views. Young teachers and graduate students from Ningbo University introduced their recent researches, showing our rich and colorful works and graduate education.
